Because you personally did not agree with it.

Great way for a.net to hear the community.

every thread about

"which shield looks nicest"

is not constructive in any way

why are they not closed?

petition to re open thread

or a better explanation how it was deemed to be closed when there was little flaming.

here is the pm frmo the admin

I know you think that you are spearheading a productive conversation here but, in truth, all you do is fan the flames of discontent. You speak of being a regular on GH. Why do you need to drag their conversations here?

It is not that I find your discussion out of place but, rather, it is unproductive. You say you have left. You say that ANet doesn't care or hear you/us. Then why persist with this thread and your posts?

I'm truly not trying to be a jerk but isn't one forum errupting into flames enough? Most of the PvP posters here also post over there. Why does there need to be a double repeat of everything?

I would not mind a thread that is a productive one: One with ideas and suggestions presented in a logical fashion. This thread is not that thread. If you would like to start one, please do and I will close this current one. If, as you say, ANet doesn't care and a thread like that is useless, then so be it.

The more constructive our criticism, the more likely it is to be listened to by ANet. Calling Gaile and the devs all sorts of names (liars and Nazis come to mind) will, I can guarantee you, stop them listening.

Thanks for your help to put water on the flames.

Aniewiel

Also I never called gaile a nazi.

and what right do you have to decide how I express my legitimate views.

This seems rather... uncouth and personally, if you have an issue with the Admins, I'd say talk to them yourself, don't try and ruin these forums because your'e not happy with how they're run.

Not to be mean, but this is a carebear to the devs forum, what do you expect? I suppose this forum cant handle heated discussion about a serious problem.

also there is a thread on droknars rushers that is huge and is beaten to death, that can be closed too.

basically im getting at that you are personally against the views in the thread and unrightly censoring it.

*sighs* I knew this would happen and I hoped that you would accept the challenge to create a constructive thread about PvP and what it is that you all want. The things that -were- expressed that were germaine to the game's betterment were being lost in pointless posts about "I'm at work" and other silliness.

I never said that -you- called Gaile any of those things. Those are things that I have seen her called on a couple other GW forums that I visit.

I sent you a polite PM to hopefully steer the conversation to more constructive criticism. I am sorry you took it so negatively. As for not letting you express yourself: DO! But why not give ideas in a rational, less emotional fashion?

I asked for constructive output in a post and I get this. *sighs again*

since when does an admin tell a poster what he should post?

I understand limitations.

I understand that thread was no worse then Droknar's rushers for content.

The only thing was you personally disagreed.

I have read all of the forum rules.

now please re open the valid and active thread.

This is not the place to express your discontentment. If you have an issue with the forum/site/staff, then contact a mod or admin directly. There will be no public lynching under my watch.

I will not resort to a flame war with you, GHM. I did not tell you what to post. I asked you politely, I might add, to please consider toning your rhetoric down a bit. That's all. The things that you ARE saying that are worth something are being buried in other useless posts clogging up the thread.

And I do NOT disagree with any salient constructive point at all. I think you and others have VERY good points. The problem with that particular thread is that they were being lost under the weight of other useless posts.
